I had a chance to visit Salles de Reception VIEUX-PORT and Nelligan Hotel (too much to see did not make it to the other 2 spots.) on February 15, 2015, as they opened their doors for their Spectacular open house. My tour began with the Salles de Reception Vieux-Port as I will be working there for an upcoming wedding this spring. I can’t wait. I am glad I braved the cold Montreal weather and got a chance to meet the staff as well as see the room all set up for a wedding. On my first visit I fell in love with this place. It has the authentic Old Montreal feel with a modern touch. It’s just perfect for a rustic chic themed wedding. As a wedding decorator it is very easy for me to imagine different layouts and proposals for my clients with my attention to detail. Here are a few pictures I would like to share.

Spandex white chair covers, rosette white tablecloths complete with crystal chandeliers combine to create a very elegant ambiance for any modern themed wedding. Your guests will be pleased at your taste which is sure to set the tone for the night.

Second stop was the Nelligan. I have worked at the Nelligan a couple of times. Very lovely location too.

Wedding Ceremony decor

An alternative option to the red carpet. A white aisle runner. With custom chuppah for the wedding ceremony.

Complete draping for the wall behind the chuppah adding a soft touch to the room. Setting the tone for a very romantic wedding. Red carpet down the aisle leading to the chuppah.

Headtable all set up for the wedding reception.

Large floral centerpieces on the guest tables. Beautiful roses accented with hydrageas for the perfect bloom.

All white with red as an accent color for this wedding . The Headtable is the focal point on your wedding day. I always encourage my brides to elevate the headtable decor as it will be in almost all reception pictures. We draped this headtable giving it an elegant touch.

I’m so excited to share some great pictures from the
CHIC WEDDING BRIDAL EXPO. I must say I absolutely loved it. Very modern, great location, VALET parking provided by VALETQUEBEC was just perfect for this kind of weather. Once inside the contemporary location was just a perfect start to things for the afternoon looking at all things PRETTY.

Beautiful Gold Lace Wedding Cake Decoration

I absolutely loved this cake. This is just pure timeless elegance. Loved the gold lace decoration. Just simply fabulous design from Dolce & Gateaux.

This was also a show stopper for me. The entire Bravo Party booth was setup so well and well coordinated. Take a look at these chairs for the bride and groom. Makes a perfect statement of modern elegance.

Wedding Day Floral Arrangements and Centerpieces

Great Job on this Floral Wall. How many flowers are in this floral wall. The answer – too many to count, but certainly a perfect addition to an ceremony as you say ‘I do.” or also a great focal point for our wedding reception behind the bride and groom as the take a seat at their sweetheart table. We love it Luluthia.

I just loved this too. This Our Love Story setup at the welcome table at our reception is great sneak peak to some key dates in your relationship. Give your guests a preview to our love life. Such a romantic addition.

And I definately enjoyed this booth. Nüva Beauty and Spa. I got to try some make up and my make up artist did a great job with me. She asked what look I was going for and I gave her free reign. I loved the result. Perfect. Thank you Mila H. You are definately fabulous at what you do. I recommend you get your make up trail before the big day. make it something fun for your bridesmaids and mother. You will love all the attention.
